Watch. Top 14. Toulouse destroys Montpellier as Ntamack and Roumat made the show.

Stade Toulousain secured a 38-13 victory on their home ground at Ernest Wallon during the second round of the Top 14 against Montpellier. Despite missing key players who are with the French national team for the World Cup, Toulouse put on a dazzling display, led by standout performances from Théo Ntamack and Alexandre Roumat.

While Romain Ntamack was in the stands watching his teammates, Stade Toulousain wasted no time, scoring their first three tries of the match in just 18 minutes. Mathis Lebel, Guillaume Cramont, and Sofiane Guitoune crossed the try line, extending their team’s lead.

Montpellier, visibly shaken, struggled to counter Toulouse’s assaults and could even thank them for committing handling errors in the second half.

Pierre-Louis Barassi scored the final try for his team late in the game, securing the full 5 points in the standings for Stade Toulousain, who kicked off their defense of the French championship title.
